you all are talking about stagger, this sounds dumb, but is it difference from left side to right side or right front to right rear? and how much should it be?

Remeber there is no dumb questions here, We were all new to this at one time.
Stagger is the difference in the in the circumfrence(distance around the tread of the tire) of the right and left side tires.
You want you right side bigger than the left.
You can have stagger in the rear, but it usaually more for the front tires. I have used rear stagger to help in some situations before.
As for how much to put in the front, it depends on the, track condition,size and banking. And on the driver style .
Just because a 2 tires might say they are the same size, not all are not. For example a 255/70/15 with 20 psi. of air may very in iches around. I have found this out, so always use a measuring tape to check them.
