Ok...we have a problem that our brakes are a little mushy. This is in an 85 Monte. It has the stock brakes on the front, and it has only a single disk in the rear on the left side and no power brakes. We have replaced the two right calipers with brand new ones (well rebuilt) and a new line on the right front. We have totally replaced all of the fluid in the system as well. After the last race, I inspected the brakes, and I believe that the right front brake is working well according to what I see on the rotor, but the other two do not seem to be doing as well. The system has been blead several times, and I don't see any air coming out of there. Is it possible that the older lines are just bulging that much (especially the rear since there is only one caliper) and is causing us problems? I would like to hear any ideas anyone might have. Thanks.

Try the junction block on the rail for blockage. Why only one rear brake, and the right front hooked up?
I always unhook right front, and wouldn't race any other way now.

only one on the rear because, well, the idiot that put the 9" under the car extended the passenger side axle out of the axle tube about 3 inches, making it VERY difficult to put a brake on there. As for the front, both sides are hooked up, but just looking at the rotors, the right front is working much better than the rear. Both sides and rear have been blead several times and seem to be clear of air.
