posted May 09, 2002 09:44 AM We run a metric, and from what I read, we want the cross weight somewhere right around 50%. The way the car is weighted right now though, it is over 52%. What will excessive cross weight do? Right now, we are about 53% rear and 52% left to go along with that in a car that weighed 3550 (after it came off the track and was covered with mud...we only get to weigh after hot laps). I am guessing there was 75 lbs of mud on the rear of the car mostly. Anyway, I hope this isn't too confusing to anyone. Thanks.

Other people on the forum would probably have a better answer than me but I would say it would make you loose in and tight going off the corner.
