posted May 07, 2002 01:20 PM I broke one and bent the other control arm fri. night when I hit the wall. I was told to beef up the replacement ones that i have to put in the car. Has anyone done this and what and how did you do this. Any help would be great. Thanks!!!!

Is it possible that the control arms bending kept the frame from being damaged? Just a thought......

I've seen people weld angle iron along the front and rear on the top. I really don't see the point.
I agree with loojack, when you hit a wall, something's gonna bend - the upper a-arm is one of the first choices.

im agreein with those to on this one. i would rather bend something cheap like a control arm than putting a new front clip on the car. something has to give out so let it be the cheap something.
