My suggestion based of my experiences would be the Q-jet intake with the Canton adjustable adapter/spacer. Slide it to the rear till the Holly bores are over the rear holes in the intake. This adapter may seem a little pricey at 40 bucks but it works plus it is also a insulator .

Where I race, everyone uses that setup also, very good suggestion. I would like to hear what you thought if you tried it.

I use a quadrajet four barrel aluminum intake paint it to look like cast iron. I bought a phenolic material spacer from summit and it really works good for me.
Good Luck
