The car we ran last year was a 84 Regal.
The car we have this year is a 75 Malibu. The malibu didn't come with a power steering pump is there any way to make the Metric pump work on the non-metric Malibu?
I think the lines are different on the ends.

I am not 100% sure, but I think you can get the pump to work. some of the lines will hit your exhaust if they aren't the right ones. and the ends that attach to the pump will be different. Metric was pointed and the old stuff was just flared, I believe. I think the 75 Malibu will handle better for you though (good choice!!)

Yeah, thats what I mean. On one the end is flared and the other has a O ring I think.
I know this car will handle better!
Our cars have to weigh 2900 and the new one weighs 2700!Last years was about 3450!
BIG difference!

I was told once that the 75-76 malibu are the best racecars without a doubt. I agree

To awnser your question yes, you can use the pump. You will have to take the fitting out of the back and put an early model one in and run the early lines though.
