was just wondering what people are giving for a decent metric car to start building their racers we are in the rust belt and they are getting hard to find one that the frame is not shot on

what year do you want i can set you up with one. i can get you camaros, firebirds, monte carlos, buicks, malibus. i know where you can get birds and camaros cheap. there is a junkyard that deals only in them here in southeren ohio. i know where there is a few wrecked monte's at and i could possibly get them cheap. just say the word. i know several of the local junkyard owners around. 2 of them race at the track i work at.

Hey tech, what years of camaros do they have and how cheap are they? Is the place near Athens, OH? I would be interested in a camaro between 78 and 81.

17j,450!last summer i bought an 82regal,rust free, and straight as an arrow ,gutted, for 100 bucks, sold it for a buck and a half, and was glad to unlold it!come south my friend, you have to climb over dozens of them at the junk yards.i will say this,2nd gen camaros are getting to be a little tough to come across on the cheap .and don't even think about chevelles, the car crushers got those{have to make space for the econo boxs
!}no snow=no salt=no rust=no problems

The most I have ever paid for a metric was $75.00. One I bought even had a good tranny.

by the time i put gas in my truck get a room and food it would be cheaper in the long run to get one here lol. we have so many tracks around here and nobody can run camaros so a good metric goes fast there is about 150 cars within a 100 mile radius running on the same nite so thats why they go for so much at least i can sell the shot frames to the mod guys and not get hurt to bad

Hey tech, are you or your brother interested in parting with the car? Email me at twleach@loganrec.com. It has been years since I have been to that junk yard. Do they have many '78-'81 camaros left?

he said it can go for the right price. any ways my mom wants it out of the yard. i asked him about selling it for a race car and he said it could go for the right price he might even through in a spare trunk lid for it with a spoiler. sadly i live about 20 miles west of hillsboro so i dont make it down that way much but i am looking the number up on the internet. i dont believe i can find it. if you could find the number i would like to know it. they will probably have some 79-81's. i asked my brother already for racer17 and he said it can be loaded on the trailer for the money. there is a guy who wants it that did a whole bunch of stuff to it when he used to own it. he is my brothers friend and he had it for almost 15 years when we got it, he is always saying he is going to buy it back but we never see cash. remember these important words "MONEY WALKS AND BULLSH*T TALKS"

could i possibly get your number. my brother is in college at lima. this is his number if you want to call him 1-419-998-2802. the best time to get him is before 1pm or after 7pm. he shares a dorm with 5 other guys. just ask for tyler. he wants to keep the steering column and the chevy rally wheels on it. he also wants to keep the rear axle. he said he will put another one undernieth it that he has. he also wants the glass along with the wheel well flares. he said he wanted to talk to you about it.
