what tires should i run on a 86 chevy caprice
we can run 60seriestires, but must be on a 15in rim.the car, has 3.73 gears with a
stock rear end

That would depend on what size track your racing on as far as size goes. Two common sizes are 275/60/15 and 255/60/15. As far as brand Cooper cobras, defenders, Firestone firehawks are all good tires.

bubba we run a 3/8mile track, i am not for
sure what the banking is?

We run at a 3/8 mile and a half mile track. We use to run a 373 and we'd run 255/70/15. We'd qualify and run top 6 every night at both tracks. so I say go with 255/70/15

where are you located at i can get you good used tires for your race car for a cheap price probably 10-25 bucks a tire depending on the tread depthand what kind they are my buddy owns a tire shop
