I am building a street stock and would like to know what would be the best Master Cylinder to use without vacum brakes. The car came standered with vacum brakes and I need to change the master cylinder to manual brakes. Any sugestions on what to do and what would work the best, thanks! Also if I put in a manual paportioning valve in do I also need to use the stock paportioning vale or take it out?...thanks again!

if you have to use a stock master cylinder, go with one that came from a older chevelle, from about the mid 60's or if your rules don't specify a stock one go with aftermarket any brand. they really are the best, you can add guages that show how much you are pushing to front and rear. There are some good books available from steve smith autosports.
