I would really like to utilize the 7.5" Ford rearend housing due to it's light weight. The differential is the weak point of that particular rearend; therefore, I would like to install a full spool. Thus far, I have been unsuccessful in finding a source. Has anyone made or knows of a company that manufactures spools for the Ford 7.5"?

what are your limitations? if you can use the ford 9 inch you should. what a great rear end. the 7.5 seems like it would be a weak pusher. and you may not be able to find a spool. check in a racing mag in the appendix in the back look for the advertisers and start calling you never know. I hope something can be done but go for the 9 inch if you can, it is a quality piece and you won't be dissapointed. parts and gears are easy to find. Read "At the alter of Speed, the life of Dale Earnhardt" for an amusing story of the benifit of a strong rear that lasts all race long and doesn't fail You will get a chuckle out of it and the book is a very good book
