i have a healthy 406 in my bomber car. have had the same motor for a couple of years. the first year in a street stock and i had no problems at all. had the motor rebuilt this winter by the same engine builder. the only problem is it has angle plug heads and the rules say you must run straight plug. i changed the heads and ever since i have been breaking rocker arm studs and bending push tubes. same cam. same valve setting. i went from dart angle plug to dart straight plug, the only difference is the spring diamter, but the height and rating are the same. could i have a bad cam or maybe something else.
