what you need to measure is drumb to drumb because that is youur wheel track it should come out to be62 to 64 it will fit but you want tto keep your front and rear close with in 2'wider rear

found that the only 9" that is stock narrow enough is out of 67-69 Mustangs, GOOD LUCK. Did see in my CIRCLE TRACK magazine that you can order a housing with axles, any width for $595. Good price in my opinion.

One more thing. Just look at the tag. The first number is usaully hard to read with out pulling the nut off. Ford was real nice and stamped the ratio on a tag and it is attatched at the pumpkin. Most of the time in trucks you will find 2.75 in auto's, 3.25 in standards. Lots of the cars have 2.75 and 2.47

I run metric car with a 9 inch. We ordered it from Danny Millers rear ends in kirkland mo. We ordered it 60 inches wide from axle face to axle face. we run 305 Hoosiers on 10 inch rims. 4 in offset on rear. It clears everything without rubbing. We felt it was the easiest way to go because after you find one out of another car or truck you will spend more trying to get it ready to go. and if you ever bend a axle, all you do is call and they will ship you one. Sure beats looking all over everywhere trying to find another.

Deed, yes I run both the upper and lower stock control arms. I think it ran someone where in the neighborhood of $800 by the time I got it shipped. This was with shock mounts and control arm mounts and with tapered bearings on the axles. Also with 5/8th studs on the axles. All we had to do was weld the brake mounts on. We have put this same style rear end under 3 metric cars without any problems. Danny Millers rear gears, Kirkwood, MO. You can find their ad in circle track mag.Phone # 314-965-9394 These are Mosier axles by the way. Hope this helps! If you would like to see my car, It is in the winners list in user pics,on top row, 5th pic over.Or you can go to my car builders web site,www.coxracingchassis.50megs.com and see cars in various stages of building to get an idea. Can't tell much about the rear end but might give you an idea what we have.

Deed, keep on trucking, that was my first ever win of any kind, not even a heat race win!. Took me over 5 years to get it.Still trying to get another and still haven't got a heat win yet!Oh well, rather have 1 feature win as none at all!
