I have a ? for all the other 1/2 mile dirt racers. What do you think is more important torque, horsepower, or ability to run higher rpm? My 83 cutlass handles great, I can run as good as anyone in a corner but they leave sitting exiting the corner. They also seem to run higher rpm. I have been running 350s and 355s but I am disapointed come race day.

What kind of rpm's are you running? Your cam will have a set torque range and if your out of the torque range coming off the corner then your car will be "doggy"

What kind of valve springs and what rocker arm ratio do you suggest. Will this cam need different length pushrods?

Sorry I forgot to include that I run 1.5 long slots(were not allowed rollers)I use Elgin, I also use 100 thousands push rods. In case it matters this is a solid cam.
