Hey all, just wanted to pass along a great tip that may help someone out at the track. We unfortunately broke an axle in hot laps and had no new seal for the rear end housing.A fellow racer suggested using roll bar padding.Yes,Roll Bar Padding! I thought this to be a very crude idea and was leery about even trying it but it was that or go home early. The rear end held just fine and we lost VERY little gear lube in the course of an 8 lap heat and a 15 lap A-Main.Like I said,it may sound extremely crude but it kept us in the race all night.Pass this on and maybe it can help someone else as it did us.

That does sound crude but if it makes the dirt fly its rollbar padding for me!!!!!!!!1
